The San Francisco 49ers had one of their last practices of the 2020 season. The team has been decimated by injuries all year, and it looks like they will be down a few more players for their Week 17 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Here is the Niners’ practice report for today:
Did not participate: WR Brandon Aiyuk (ankle), DT Kevin Givens (not injury related), DT Javon Kinlaw (knee), WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring), CB Richard Sherman (calf), CB K’Waun Williams (shin), T Trent Williams (elbow), DE Jordan Willis (ankle).
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said yesterday that Kinlaw has a chance to play on Sunday. Earlier in the week, Shanahan said Williams would be good to go this weekend, but the cornerback hasn’t practiced yet. We will see if he’s on the field tomorrow.
Limited: DE Dion Jordan (knee), S Tarvarius Moore (ankle), CB Emmanuel Moseley (hamstring), LB Mark Nzeocha (illness), T Justin Skule (knee).
Full: S Jimmie Ward (concussion), TE Charlie Woerner (not injury related)
The 49ers also restored quarterback Josh Johnson and wide receiver Kevin White to the practice squad from the practice squad’s COVID-19 list. Shanahan will have to decide who is backing up C.J. Beathard against the Seahawks between Johnson and Josh Rosen.
