For the first time since what, Week 1, the 49ers injury list does not take up an entire tweet. Deebo Samuel and Tevin Coleman aren’t listed on the injury report. San Francisco will have their full stable of backs for what feels like the first time this season. We’re in December. It’s been that type of year.
The only player ruled out was K’Waun Williams, as he has a high-ankle sprain. His replacement, Emmanuel Moseley, is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Everyone else that’s not on the injured reserve is good to go.
Shanahan wouldn’t say who would fill in for Moseley, and why would he? The reporters tried to ask Shanahan during Zoom, and he did a masterful job of deflecting. It was hilarious. “Jason Verrett will be ready to go at all 11 positions.” “I don’t know, I forgot.” Those were the quotes from Kyle when asked who could fill in for Moseley at nickel cornerback.
The Bills are healthy, so the 49ers won’t catch any breaks in that department. This game is the season, more or less. Win, and you’re probably a week away from George Kittle and Jimmy Garoppolo coming back. Lose, and we talk NFL Draft. No pressure.
