As most of us are stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic, we’re trying to find ways to keep ourselves entertained in our houses. My buddy Alex Carson, known as Seattle Faithful on Twitter, had a great idea. Alex is going to host a San Francisco 49ers trivia night. The plan is to host the trivia night on Zoom, so a video conference. If you’re interested, be sure to download “Zoom” on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. Sound and a microphone are required.
It may be a bit chaotic the first few minutes, but there’s a plan in place. Zoom will allow up to 500 participants. We can create breakout sessions, which would enable us to form different teams. Alex, as the host, can jump from room to room and ask each room a round of questions. Let’s say you get a minute to answer each. Then he’d hop in another room, and so on. When you’re placed into a breakout room, you can only see and hear those in that room. The easiest way to go about this from a logistics side is to set this up would be for you to join, and Alex will assign you to rooms.
The questions will be any and everything related to the 49ers. It’s a fun idea to get all of our minds off the “real world” for a bit. We are planning on getting this Trivia Night up and running at 6 p.m. PT Tuesday, March 24. Comment below if you’d be interested in playing. I’ll post an update tomorrow evening with more details on how to join. Today’s article is to get a general idea to see how many of us crazies are down to do this. It should be a lot of fun, and we can come up with prizes for the winning team.
