With the first week of NFL free agency in the books, most of the major names are off the market.

Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports takes a look around the NFC West and breaks down what she thinks of the San Francisco 49ers division rivals.

To me, the Arizona Cardinals improved the most out of the Niners divisional foes. I don’t know if Cards head coach Kliff Kingsbury has incriminating photos of Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, but he swindled him for receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Arizona also added some pieces on defense, including former Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. The Cardinals played the 49ers really tough twice last year, but I still think they’re not ready to challenge San Francisco for the division title.

The Seattle Seahawks have had a so-so offseason so far. Although quarterback Russell Wilson has been a thorn in the 49ers side for a long time, I don’t think the ‘Hawks are deep enough to win 11-plus games. No word yet on what will happen with defensive lineman Jadeveon Clowney, but it will be a huge avoid for the Seattle pass rush if he doesn’t return.

As far as the L.A. Rams go, I think they will be last in the division after bleeding talent this offseason. My early pick for the Rams is 4-12 and I hope I see this prediction come true.
