The red hot Houston Roughnecks led by P.J. Walker take on the Seattle Dragons to kick off Week 5 of the XFL. The Roughnecks are 4-0, while the Dragons are 1-3. Houston has scored the most points in the league, thanks in large part to Walker and wide receiver Cam Phillips, who are fighting for the early MVP of the league. The Dragons will roll with B.J. Daniels at quarterback in hopes of keeping pace with Houston. If Seattle can slow down Houston, it’ll be because of linebacker Steven Johnson, who leads the XFL in tackles.

The second game of the day features a pair of 2-2 teams. The New York Guardians against the Dallas Renegades. This might be worth tuning for broadcast purposes as New Orleans Saints All-Pro defensive lineman Cam Jordan will be doing sideline reporting. If you’re unfamiliar, Jordan is full of jokes and has a great personality. There will bee no filter with Joran on the sideline. The Guardians got back in the win column last week thanks to Luis Perez going 18-26 and throwing a touchdown. Darius Victory ran for a season-high 82 yards last week as well. New York also found a way to get after the quarterback. The Guardians had three sacks last week. They had produced two sacks in the two previous losses.

Dallas will have a new quarterback as Landry Jones will miss time with a knee injury. Philip Nelson will make his debut. Dallas turned the ball over five times a week ago. They’ve also yet to win at home. The Guardians have yet to win on the road. Something’s gotta give!
