Friday morning, the San Francisco 49ers announced their preseason schedule. This was released last week on May 8, but we didn’t have official dates and start times.

-Aug. 15 (Saturday): at Denver, 6:05 p.m. PT

-Aug. 21 (Friday): vs. Raiders, 7 p.m. PT

-Aug. 29 (Saturday): at Chicago, 10 a.m. PT

-Sept. 3 (Thursday): vs. Chargers, 7 p.m. PT

A first game means there we’ll have to wait to watch the Niners as opposed to seeing them early in the week. Not that it’s a big deal, as by then, we’ll take any type of sports watching we can get.

Vegas on a Friday. I got excited for a split-second before remembering nobody will be at these games.

The Week 3 dress rehearsal against the fighting Mitch Trubisky’s will come at 10 a.m. for the player’s body clock, but the game starts at noon in Chicago. I’m sure the 49ers will spend time in Chicago, but seeing if the team comes out sluggish will be something to keep an eye on.

The final game against the Chargers comes as the final preseason game in the NFL.
