Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in 49ers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
This week’s SB Nation reacts question was whether or not the San Francisco 49ers would win more than 10.5 games. We’ve discussed this topic quite a bit, and as you see below, there are very few fans that think the Niners will fall short of winning 11 games this season.

A better number would have been at 12.
Interestingly enough, the national audience believes the 49ers have the second-best chance to fall short of their win total.

I’d love to hear their answer. I wonder if this is due to seeing the 49ers pop up in the national news every day with a new injury. I don’t expect many fans to have a great grasp on a team that they don’t follow, so when you see Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk are injured, it’s a fair assumption to think the team will suffer.
If that is the argument, the 49ers were never going to win games because of their wideouts. Never is a bit too strong, but how often has that happened under Kyle Shanahan since he’s been the head coach for San Francisco? This team is built to run the ball, throw the ball off play-action, and suffocate you on defense. The offense will be more explosive in 2020 thanks to adding playmakers such as Aiyuk and Jerick McKinnon while getting reliable targets back like Trent Taylor. Still, the philosophy of the Niners won’t change.
It gets better. Of the five teams, the 49ers received the fewest votes to exceed their win total of 10.5.

Was the poll only sent to Mike Florio?
