Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in 49ers fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
As we did last season, we’ll track fans’ confidence in the San Francisco 49ers weekly. At the end of the season, 99% of fans were confident in the team’s direction. That number fell to 93% once the team traded DeForest Buckner and lost Emmanuel Sanders in free agency. After the draft, that figure climbed to 97% and has remained the same heading into Week 1.

During training camp for certain players, the hype certainly helped despite Brandon Aiyuk missing time with a hamstring strain; he’s ahead of schedule for a rookie. Seeing younger players along the defensive line stepped up in Buckner’s absence has been comforting. Hearing the players returning off injured reserve, such as Trent Taylor and Jerick McKinnon, make plays certainly help. It’s the newcomers like Trent Williams and Jordan Reed standing out that make it easy to feel confident in the Niners.
Will the Chiefs cover the spread?

We had three national questions. One was asking whether the Chiefs would cover the spread. 51% of you thought they would. Thanks to a late touchdown, Kansas City covered the spread and the over hit. I thought it was hilarious when Al Michaels mentioned the total going over Vegas’s projected line of 53.5. Michaels can’t help himself.
Who will score the most fantasy points this week?

I’m not a big fantasy guy, but I would have picked Jackson as Cleveland has a banged-up secondary, and he’ll have an opportunity to run all over them. It’s tough to pick against Mahomes or McCaffrey, though. There are no wrong answers here.
Which Week 1 game are you looking forward to?

If you picked the Thursday night game, I imagine that’s because you missed football. Tampa Bay versus New Orleans is happening at the same time as San Francisco and Arizona, but that’d be the game I’d pick. Most Packers and Vikings games are snoozers. Do you all enjoy those games?
