The 49ers will wear their classic red jerseys and gold pants for the opener today against the Cardinals. The big news was whether center Ben Garland would be active or not. Also, would we see Brandon Aiyuk? Kyle Shanahan said both players would come right down to the wire, whether they’d play or not. With the air quality being a concern, there was also the question of whether Tevin Coleman would suit up, as he has a sickle cell trait and did not practice Friday due to the air quality.

Street being inactive is surprising as well. He had a strong camp, but most of the defensive lineman did. I wonder how much we see Kevin Givens play today.
