Watching the Cleveland Browns during Week 1 against the Ravens and you couldn’t help but notice how gun shy Baker Mayfield was. Too often, he had an open receiver and didn’t pull the trigger. The Browns weren’t going to beat the Ravens either way, but Mayfield struggled in a big way. Going away from an aggressive defense like Baltimore should help. Cleveland is a six-point favorite against the rookie Joe Burrow. The total on this game is 44.5.
It would be tough for the Browns to play any worse than they did on Thursday. I think their defensive line is the difference in this game against an inexperienced Bengals team. Burrow made a few nice plays with his legs and came back in the fourth quarter last week, but he looked like a rookie for the majority of the game. That’s to be expected with no preseason for the first overall pick.
Will A.J. Green exploit the Browns secondary? Will Joe Mixon make a difference? Will Baker actually hit Odell Beckham Jr. in stride? Tune in to find out!
