Sunday night football thread: Go whoever is playing against the Seahawks

You rarely have this type of feeling after a San Francisco 49ers win, but the wind flew out of fans’ sails with the number of injuries the team suffered on Sunday. It won’t help much, but seeing the Seattle Seahawks blow it on national TV would be nice. Seattle comes into the game at four-point favorites over the New England Patriots.

Last week, the Patriots ran for more than 200 yards on 42 while throwing for only 155 yards on 19 attempts. Cam Newton had the same amount of rush attempts as he did completions. The Patriots defense, despite a couple of key opt-outs and free agency departures, still looks strong. They intercepted Ryan Fitzpatrick three times in Week 1. That defense is sure to make life more difficult for a Russell Wilson-led offense that did whatever they wanted to against the Falcons last week.

I’m not sure the Patriots are built to come back from a deficit, so they’ll need to control the game and play their usual sound football. What are your score predictions?
