NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is battling a bone bruise on top of an MCL sprain:

As I’m typing this, Kittle is speaking to the media, but wouldn’t reveal whether he’s playing Sunday. He is currently with the team and practiced on Thursday. There have been videos showing Kittle running. He looks great, but I’d still be cautious with my star player.
One change in Thursday’s injury report was Dre Greenlaw, who was limited on Wednesday but did not practice on Thursday. Greenlaw has a thigh contusion. His injury will be something to keep an eye on. If he can’t go, the 49ers would start Azeez Al-Shaair at SAM, who played late in the fourth quarter against the Jets.
Jason Verrett practiced in full for the second day in a row. Here is what defensive coordinator Robert Saleh had to say:
Here is Saleh on the status of Jason Verrett for Sunday's game.

If the 49ers activate Verrett, that will signal he’s going to play. Verrett isn’t on any of the special teams, though he did play on cornerback on the punt return team briefly during 2019. If Verrett is active, he’s likely to play, I’d imagine.
Here is the practice report for Thursday:
Did not practice
RB Tevin Coleman (knee)
DE Dee Ford (back)
QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle)
LB Dre Greenlaw (quadricep)
RB Raheem Mostert (knee)
Limited
TE George Kittle (knee)
Full participation
CB Jason Verrett (hamstring)
Mostert is currently in Cleveland for the birth of his second child. We wish him and his family the best of luck!
