Another week has gone by and another quarterback name has emerged as a possibility for the 49ers next season. Two other names, actually, as both Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers entered the chat over the weekend.
By now, you know what’s out there, and of course, so do the 49ers. Frankly, they know more than we do about what’s out there. The team obviously has a decision to make in the weeks to come about how to prioritize each of these players, and now, so do you.
It’s easy to choose the 25 year old stud with the great arm that can run like the wind when you ignore everything else, but what about when you zoom out to see the big picture? When you factor in what it would cost to acquire them, age, skill level, and the other needs on the team, what is the best choice for the team going forward?
