There are three games on the afternoon slate. Let’s hope they’re more entertaining than the games this morning. The Vikings were up double-digits in the fourth quarter. The Rams, Ravens, Packers, Bengals, and Colts all won by multiple possessions.
Kyler Murray, hurt shoulder and all, and the Arizona Cardinals face the Cleveland Browns without their head coach, Chandler Jones, and others. The Browns are without Nick Chubb and their offensive tackles, but this game has the makings of a Browns’ blowout.
Baker Mayfield is hurting himself, so we’ll see if he can snap out of what’s been some below-average play from Cleveland’s signal-caller.
At 1:25 p.m., the Dallas Cowboys take on the New England Patriots. Dak Prescott is arguably the best pre-snap quarterback in the NFL. However, he’ll face a Bill Belichick defense that lives in man coverage. I don’t know if they win, but I think the Patriots have more success than many realize.
The final game features the Las Vegas Raiders against the Denver Broncos. Jon Gruden resigned as the Raiders head coach earlier this week after homophobic, misogynistic, and racist comments early last week.
