What Do You Count as a Successful Season?

I'm trying to get a feel for where the bar is for fans and what we're hoping to achieve this season (not counting the obvious answer of a Super Bowl run). At this point, with 6 games left in the regular season, it's almost certain Jimmy Garoppolo, Josh Norman, Daniel Brunskill, etc. will be the starters the rest of the way. The rookies not currently playing, namely Trey Lance, aren't going to get much meaningful development the rest of the year.

Right now, the 49ers are firmly in the Wildcard race, looking like a juggernaut when they dominate TOP and helpless when they get behind multiple TDs. Provided they make it into the playoffs, they're going to be asked to play at least 1 of Tampa, Green Bay, or LA in the 1st round. The 49ers are almost certainly going to be on the wrong end off the betting odds in all of those matchups.

All that was to bring me to my real question: What would you consider a successful season? Making the playoffs, even if only for a 1st round exit? NFCCG? Super Bowl or bust? Is the season already a bust for you? Something else?

I'm also interested in hearing what you would consider the worst case scenario the rest of the year.
