49ers vs. Cardinals game thread: Which version of the offense will show up today?

San Francisco has a tremendous opportunity in front of them this afternoon.

The Patriots beat the Panthers, which is good news for the 49ers. The Vikings are currently tied with the Ravens, but, assuming Lamar pulls it out, that’s another win for San Francisco. The Falcons beating the Saints is another great sign for San Francisco, as New Orleans is much more likely to continue to win than Atlanta.

First things first, as the 49ers must take care of business. Jimmy Garoppolo on one side, with Colt McCoy on the other. McCoy, who will be without his top receiving threats, should struggle. If last week was a Nick Bosa game, this week should be on the secondary.

Remember, Jimmie Ward is out. He does so much for this defense that goes unnoticed. Hopefully, we don’t see any issues pop up today. Is anyone nervous about this game, despite the Cardinals coming in hobbled? You shouldn’t be. But, based on how Week 9 has gone, you never know what will happen.

49ers win, 28-13.
