After Friday's practice, Kyle Shanahan joined the media to provide the 49ers' final injury report. Elijah Mitchell did not practice. This will be the fourth game he’s missed. Jeff Wilson Jr. is healthy. Shanahan said he had a great week of practice and wasn’t hindered by his injury.
Deebo Samuel did give it a go. However, he'll be listed as questionable, per Shanahan.

Deebo Samuel (groin) looks to be practicing for the first time this week, taking a lot of time to stretch out
No sign of:

Trenton Cannon (concussion)

Friday practices are closer to a walk-through, but Shanahan said Deebo could do everything, which is a great sign.
Shanahan said, “you have to push it every day. You want to push it in a controlled environment.” He was describing why you can’t just rest a muscle strain all week because that’s how you re-pull it on Sunday. The controlled environment came from the natural competitiveness of a player. During a game, you’re going to push yourself 110%. In practice, the coaches can dial it back. The team will find out Saturday how Samuel’s body reacted to his groin strain.
I wonder if Dee Ford had a setback. He returned to practice at the start of the month. Since then, Ford has trended in the wrong direction. Now, a couple of weeks later, he’s no longer practicing. Ford will be a difference-maker in the playoffs if we get to that point. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been reliable. He hasn’t been activated from the injured reserve yet, either.
Here’s the final injury report for the 49ers:
OUT
RB Mitchell
CB Emmanuel Moseley
LB Dre Greenlaw
DT Maurice Hurst
RB Trenton Cannon
QUESTIONABLE
WR Deebo Samuel
CB Dontae Johnson (personal)
Shanahan wouldn’t name who would start in place of Moseley, but with Johnson unlikely to play, it’s likely going to be a rookie. If Johnson plays, he’ll start, per Shanahan.
Here’s a look at the Bengals injury report:
OUT
RB Chris Evans (ankle)
LB Logan Wilson (shoulder)
Doubtful
DT Tyler Shelvin (illness)
LB Markus Bailey (neck)
Questionable
CB Chidobe Awuzie (foot)
WR Tee Higgins (ankle)
RB Joe Mixon (illness)
Higgins and Mixon are game-time decisions but are likely to play.
