The 3 best prop bets for 49ers/Bengals on Sunday: The Juice is worth the squeeze

Let’s make things a little more interesting

If you were looking to make Sunday’s game a little more interesting, Michelle Magdziuk and I packed today’s Gold Digger’s podcast with tons of gambling and fantasy advice. Michelle is a researcher for the NFL Network and the Director of Content for Ball Blast Football if you don’t know.

According to the DraftKings Sportsbook, the Niners are 2-point favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals. Here are three of the best bets you can make in the 49ers game this week.

Kyle Juszczyk over 13.5 receiving yards

Juice hit this over pretty quickly in each of the past two weeks and would have had even more yards on Sunday if Jimmy Garoppolo threw a better pass down the left sideline in Seattle. Juszczyk has at least one catch in all but one game this season, and he will probably only need two to hit this over easily. With Deebo still likely not 100%, he’ll have the opportunities to gain some yards in this game. We expect at least one check-down to go his way, and likely a screen or two in his future as well.

Tee Higgins over 66.5 receiving yards

While it might have been the Ja’Marr Chase Show for Cincinnati early in the season, things have flipped in Higgins’ favor more recently. Higgins has at least 75 yards in four of his past five games, and with the 49ers secondary in a state of absolute disarray, Higgins should feast at home this week. As long as Joe Burrow doesn’t get bitten by the interception bug, he and Higgins could have a hell of a time.

Joe Mixon under 76.5 rushing yards

Mixon has been on fire recently thanks to a huge spike in volume, but we don’t think that is going to carry over this week. The 49ers have been good against the run over the last month or so. As a team, San Francisco has allowed fewer than 76.5 rushing yards in three of their last four games. The one game they exceeded that total was last week against Seattle, but remember that 73 of those rushing yards came on Seattle’s fake punt on the opening series. Remove those yards, and the 49ers gave up 73 rushing yards for the rest of the game as a team. There’s also the tiny fact that Mixon has been missing practice this week due to illness. Add all of that together, and we feel confident in this one, despite it being one of the few unders we’ve ever selected on the show.
