The 49ers have met with a few intriguing draft prospects with plenty of speed to burn. We know Kyle Shanahan is going to draft a pass-catcher, but in what round?

49ers, Chiefs showing big interest in Miami TE Brevin Jordan?

His arrival would allow Andy Reid or Kyle Shanahan to present opposing defenses with a variety of different looks while giving the Chiefs or Niners offense significantly more dynamism in two-tight end sets.

Playing for Miami, Jordan was often the top offensive threat and the one opposing defenses could key in on. Operating on the same offense as Kelce or Kittle, that would certainly not be the case, and he would likely be able to benefit from the attention they and the other weapons in Kansas City and San Francisco command.

49ers among several teams to virtually meet with Purdue WR Rondale Moore

The San Francisco 49ers are among several (and we mean several) teams that have virtually met with Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network. The others are the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets — almost done here — Washington Football Team, and Los Angeles Chargers.

Moore (5-9, 180) caught 35 passes for 270 yards through three games in 2020, per Pro Football Reference. His best season came in 2018 when he hauled in 114 passes for 1,258 yards with 12 touchdowns and added 21 carries for 213 rushing yards with two more scores on the ground, earning Consensus All-America and first-team All-Big Ten honors, was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and won the Paul Hornung Award as the most versatile player in college football.

49ers’ Patrick Willis isn’t in the Hall of Fame and is too busy to care - San Francisco 49ers Blog- ESPN

Willis didn’t hate football by any means. In fact, he missed things like his teammates, the competition, even the cold tubs and massages. He just knew for him to move on, he needed to remove himself from it entirely.

“I understood that this game right here is like a drug and people take drug like a derogatory term but no, it just depends on how it gets you,” Willis said. “It was like something I realized, it’s like doing a diet. You’ve got to weigh yourself, some people go cold turkey. I was like I can’t be bulls---ing with this because this thing could seriously have me messing around and in limbo like should I go back?”

As Willis revisits his decision, the thoughts build and he makes sure to note he’s speaking of his journey, lest anyone believe he’s judging a different approach.

How Will The 49ers Solve Their Fred Warner Conundrum?

John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan showed last year that they weren’t afraid to move a team leader and one of the best players on the defense. Do the 49ers value the inside linebacker position enough to give Warner a contract in the range of what they declined for DeForest Buckner, or will they decide for the second time in as many years that $19 million per year is too much and move Warner for a draft pick? We should know the answer to this by April 29, the first day of the 2021 NFL Draft.

49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk says his son can be anything except a fan of this one team

“My mom has been a huge 49ers fan her whole life,” Aiyuk told reporters shortly after being drafted, “so that kind of bled on me a little bit when I was younger.”

Aiyuk was asked if that fandom stuck with him throughout his childhood.

“So, I wouldn’t say a fan throughout,” he responded. “I just kind of just move with players. But, definitely, when I was younger, I was rolling with the 49ers because of my mom.”

Aiyuk and his girlfriend, Rochelle, had a son, Braylon, in September. Now that Aiyuk is a father, he is hoping for the best for Braylon. The 49ers receiver says his son can be anything he desires in life. Well, there is one limitation that dad is requiring.

Braylon cannot be a Seattle Seahawks fan (h/t to Jordan Cohn of Radio.com). Except — Aiyuk used a certain emoji while typing out the name of the division rival.
