Getting to host podcasts for Niners Nation and write on the website has always been a dream come true for me. Once I found out that talking about sports was a job you could do, I’ve never wanted to anything else in my life. The only problem with most of my podcasts and posts is that they don’t involve a ton of interaction from the audience - which is kind of the point, no? Well, thanks to the Locker Room app, that has changed.

Within the Locker Room app, I can still give you my thoughts, but anybody listening can request to “join the stage” and participate in the conversation, too. Think old-school sports radio talk show meets new-school technology.

All you have to do is download the free Locker Room app, follow me (@statsonfire), and be ready to interact in a really fun environment (iOS only at the moment, but the plan is to expand to both Android users and a web version of the app so everyone can enjoy the show).

We can argue talk about who the 49ers should be going after in free agency, any deal they may, or may not, have agreed to, and just generally react to what will be a busy day in the world of football.
