On Saturday night, either John Lynch and Jed York were hacked, or two prominent members from the San Francisco 49ers front office were having fun and letting loose on Twitter:
I’m the luckiest man in the world. My wife @IamDaniellems our coach #Kyle our gm @JohnLynch49ers Love my life and those I share it with

I’m thirsty. Niners fans, you want some “Juice?”
— John Lynch (@JohnLynch49ers) March 14, 2021
Logically, Lynch has been speaking with Kyle Juszczyk’s reps recently, and the two sides have been working out a deal.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted Joe Linta, Juszczyk’s agent, said, “I would like juice, too. But it’s expensive at this time of year.”
Ian Rapoport reported that both sides are scheduled to talk this afternoon and said a deal could get done, but nothing is done yet.
The Athletic's Matt Barrows said there’s optimism that it could get hammered out this afternoon. San Francisco Chronicle’s Eric Branch reported the same.
It’s tough to know what Juszcyzk’s valuation is at. It could be higher for the 49ers than for a team that doesn’t rely heavily on a fullback or 21 personnel. Over The Cap’s valuation for Juice comes in just over $3.1 million. I doubt the Niners would have any issues giving Juszczyk that contract. If you’re the Pro Bowl fullback, wouldn’t you see if the market is willing to pay you more?
We’ll find out, and hopefully as soon as Sunday afternoon.
