Kyle’s update, 3:40 p.m.: Breshad Perriman has signed a one-year deal with the Lions worth $3 million.
CB Desmond King is signing a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Texans.
CB Kevin Johnson signed a one-year deal with the Titans.
WR David Moore signed a two-year deal worth $4.75 million to join Carolina.
The Chiefs signed RT Mike Remmers to a one-year deal worth $3.75 million
Kyle’s update, 12:57 p.m.: So much for the Will Fuller dream, as he signed with the Miami Dolphins.
Kyle’s update, 12:01 p.m.: Former Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky signed with the Bills. There were rumors that the 49ers were interested in signing Trubisky as a potential backup, but outside of his athleticism, I’m not sure why the Niners would be interested.
Former Vikings’ TE Kyle Rudolph reached an agreement with the New York Giants, per Adam Schefter.
Kyle’s update, 11:45 a.m.: Former Ravens C Matt Skura has signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins.
Jared Cook has signed a one-year deal with the Chargers worth up to $6 million.
The Raiders asked Marcus Mariota to take a pay cut down to $3 million.
Ian Rapoport said if he refuses, then Mariota could be released. The could be a potential backup in San Francisco.
The Raiders have signed RB Kenyan Drake to a two-year, $14.5 million deal. Las Vegas released four of their five starters up front.
The San Francisco 49ers still have several unrestricted free agents that they could re-sign:
EDGE Ezekiel Ansah
QB C.J. Beathard
OL Tony Bergstrom
EDGE Ronald Blair III
RB Tevin Coleman
OL Tom Compton
OL Ben Garland
OL Hroniss Grasu
EDGE Kerry Hyder Jr.
RB Jerick McKinnon
CB Dontae Johnson
EDGE Dion Jordan
LB Mark Nzeocha
TE Jordan Reed
CB Richard Sherman
S Jaquiski Tartt
CB Jamar Taylor
WR Trent Taylor
LB Joe Walker
CB K’Waun Williams
EDGE Jordan Willis
Not that they’d sign a lucrative enough deal anyway, but Nick Mullens, who wasn’t tendered as a restricted free agent, McKinnon, and linebacker Mark Nzeocha do not count toward the compensatory formula for the 49ers.
I’d love for Tartt to return. Dontae Johnson coming back eventually feels inevitable. Add Garland as your swing interior offensive lineman, and that should do it for San Francisco.
As for the rest of the league, Mike Glennon has signed with the Giants to be their backup.
The Broncos have mutually parted ways with running back Phillip Lindsay, meaning his restricted free agent tender was rescinded, making Lindsay a free agent. Two weeks ago, it was reported that the 49ers had an interest in the speedy running back.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is visiting the Jets. Ben Allbright told us that JuJu wanted to play with Sam Darnold, his college QB, so that’s why Smith-Schuster was tied to the 49ers. Smith-Schuster and Corey Davis would make for a physical, playmaking duo in New York. I’ll be curious as to what JuJu’s value is.
