Ruiz goes on to explain how and why in the episode, and it’s not pretty. Obviously, every quarterback has strengths and weaknesses, but this was the strongest criticism against Mac Jones that I’ve seen anywhere.

On the one hand, it might make you feel better because you could think, “There’s no way Kyle Shanahan would choose that guy over the other quarterbacks.” On the other hand, there’s always that possibility in the back of your mind that says, “Yeah, but what if?”

Check out the rest of the episode to hear Ruiz’s explanation for his negativity, as well as Kyle Posey’s defense of the Alabama QB. As always, we also ask that you give us a five-star rating and a review as well.

“It’s almost like when you’re watching his film, you’re watching a highlight video - and not because of him, but because of the situation around him. You can only really find like five situations where he can actually screw things up, and I’m going to tell you, 80% of the time he finds a way to screw things up. He’s a quarterback that finds a way to turn a bad play into a worse play.”

  • Why have so many people connected Kyle Shanahan with Mac Jones?
