Get ready for Trey Area! The Niners No. 3 draft pick has already inspired some sweet shirts

There was no shortage of drama coming into the 2021 NFL Draft — and most of the hot takes were focused on who the San Francisco 49ers would take at No. 3.

We finally got our answer when it was revealed that the Niners were taking quarterback Trey Lance.

The 6’4, 228-pound North Dakota State product checked all the boxes for head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch. Lance was picked to lead the franchise for hopefully the foreseeable future.
