The San Francisco 49ers continue their preparations for the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft. General manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan are under the spotlight while anticipation builds for which quarterback the Niners will select third overall.

San Francisco has eight additional picks in the draft and will look to add some depth to the lineup that could potentially contribute next season.

According to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, the 49ers held a pre-draft meeting with UCF’s Jacob Harris.

Harris is 6’5, 219 pounds and could be another offensive weapon for Shanahan to work with. Kyle Juszczyk is used in various ways in Shanahan’s offense, and the Niners are holding out hope that 2019 third-round pick Jalen Hurd can remain healthy after missing the past two seasons due to injuries.

The redshirt senior racked up 30 receptions for 539 yards and eight touchdowns for the Knights last season.

Harris recently hopped on the NFL Draft Diamonds podcast and was asked which current NFL player he models his game after.

“I would say Mike Evans even though I have much to learn and improve upon I try to model my play after mike Evan’s he’s a player I’ve grown up watching.”

Harris isn’t ranked in PFF’s 2021 NFL Draft big board.
