Something fans will keep an eye on during this offseason is whether their favorite players will change jersey numbers. In some instances, like rookie Talanoa Hafunga, he’ll have the luxury of wearing No. 15. That’s a change from years past.
In other cases, players who are stuck with numbers in the 40s could want to change it up for aesthetic reasons. We’ll see how this plays out during the offseason. It didn’t take long for one of the Niners to change his number.
Veteran Jaquiski Tartt tweeted a picture of his locker on Monday, and he’s no longer wearing No. 29:

Rebirth could mean a lot of things to Tartt, as could the number 26.
Tartt signed with the 49ers on a one-year deal and is 29. After this year, he could be looking at one more three-year contract. He’s been one of my favorite players to watch, so hopefully, it’s with San Francisco.
