There weren’t many good games on the slate early Sunday. In fact, some of the football was downright terrible. We were supposed to have a good slate of games this afternoon, but the Seahawks couldn’t keep up with the Vikings, and the same was true for Tampa Bay against the Rams.
Los Angeles looks like the real deal. Now, it’s the 49ers' turn. Everything about this matchup screams a big Niners win. You can never count a team out with Aaron Rodgers and Devante Adams, though. When those two are clicking, no matter how good your coverage is, it seems as though they find a way to get it done.
Green Bay has to find a way to slow down a 49ers offense that’s top-five offensively in just about every category that matters. The scary part is they’ve yet to put it all together for four quarters.
The atmosphere should be electric tonight. The Packers are a good litmus test for San Francisco. I’m excited to see Trey Sermon have a big night and putting an end to the “what’s wrong with Brandon Aiyuk” talk.
The secondary has a challenge ahead of them. There’s no doubt about it. However, the Packers' offensive line faces a steeper challenge, which should be the difference in tonight’s game.
