So much for a low-volume day for Christian McCaffrey, who touched the ball on eight of his first ten plays. McCaffrey already has an explosive play, as does George Kittle. Kyle Shanahan drew up an impressive double-fake screen play, giving Kittle a free run toward the end zone.

The 49ers' defense has three possessions so far and has forced a punt on each drive. They looked as locked in as ever.
