Commanders vs. Cowboys thread: Are we in for another upset?

It’ll have to come from Sam Howell

The 49ers haven’t played yet, and they already won as Jared Goff fumbled the game away and the Lions were upset at home to the Green Bay Packers. The Lions pass defense left a lot to be desired.

Now, the Dallas Cowboys host Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders. Expect Sam Howell, who has been serviceable this season all things considered, to throw the ball early and often.

But the question is whether the Commanders can block Micah Parsons and the Dallas pass rush. If they can, Washington has a puncher’s chance. But if not, the Cowboys shouldn’t have any difficulty moving the ball up and down the field against a Commanders defense that no longer has its two best pass rushers in Montez Sweat and Chase Young.

Dallas is the type of team that bullies inferior opponents, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they win big today.
