Sunday Night Football thread: We have Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert under the lights

An elite team vs. an average team

It’s been an entertaining Sunday in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers didn’t get any help from the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen threw the game away. The Niners will have their opportunity to take down the Philadelphia Eagles next weekend.

Tonight, we’ll watch Lamar Jackson on the road against Justin Herbert. Baltimore is a little banged up, Ronnie Stanley will play. Odell Beckham Jr. will also give it a go. But the Ravens are without their star tight end, Mark Andrews.

Still, Baltimore has plenty of weapons around one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL to do damage against anybody. Plus, Isaiah Likely would be a household name if he was afforded more opportunities.

The Chargers come into this game with a terrible defense and an offense that’s kept them in the game in recent weeks. I think this one is simple. We have one of the best teams in the NFL playing “on the road” against a team that’s average at best. I’ll take Lamar.
