The 49ers did what they needed to. They also received help from the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens. Now, after beating the Seahawks, a Dallas Cowboys victory would pave the way to a No. 1 seeded Niners.
The last time Dallas played Philadelphia was on the road a few weeks ago. The Cowboys had 406 yards in a five point loss despite out gaining the Eagles by one yard per play. Dallas is a different animal at home. Plus, they have the rest advantage and the Eagles are coming to an end of a brutal schedule.
The Cowboys have scored over 40 points in their last four home games and managed 38, 30, and 40 in their first three home games. If there was a time for Dallas to beat a bully, it’s tonight.
I think there’s a better chance of tonight being another blowout than the Eagles winning. Get ready for some, “can the Cowboys beat the 49ers?!” takes from the national media after tonight.
