The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Indianapolis Colts as the AFC is sandwiched in between a pair of NFC games on Saturday. We just saw how sloppy a game can be when there are two backup quarterbacks under center. Well, we’re treated to another game of second-team quarterbacks.
Mitchell Trubisky will start again for an injured Kenny Pickett. Gardner Minshew, who feels like he’s started every game for Indy, continues to start for Indy. Neither quarterback has done much to inspire confidence.
The most significant difference in this game is Minshew has started for multiple games in a row, and he has the superior play-caller in Shane Steichen. The Steelers had a bump offensively after firing their offensive coordinator, but that magic quickly wore off.
This has the makings of a potentially high scoring game when you factor in turnovers and the potential for short fields. Neither defense is very good. I’ll take the better offensive mind. Colts 24-21.
