Branch: ‘Kyle Shanahan, he has it’: 49ers on historic roll with Ravens looming (paywall)

“Asked Monday about the 49ers’ offense, Ravens coach John Harbaugh, in his 16th season in Baltimore, discussed Shanahan and the roots of his system. In 2012, the Ravens, en route to a Super Bowl title, lost 31-28 in overtime to Washington, which was coached by Mike Shanahan.

“It’s a system that Kyle has built forth through the tradition of his dad … and he’s taken it to another place,” Harbaugh said. “He really has expanded it and evolved it in a great way.”

49ers minutia minute: More injuries along the D-line; Jake Moody is PAT king (paywall)

“If there had been an injury at guard or center Sunday, Bartch would have filled in at guard. He played the last two kneel-down snaps at right guard; Feliciano moved to center. Offensive line coach Chris Foerster said he had a chat with Bartch’s former position coach, George Warhop, who encouraged Foerster to look at Bartch after the Jacksonville Jaguars traded for Ezra Cleveland and put Bartch on the practice squad. Bartch suffered a season-ending knee injury last season and is still returning to form, Foerster said.

“He’s probably not yet anchoring well enough at guard,” he said. “That’s what concerned me on the Jacksonville tape. But at center he is good. He can play center as well. Those interior three positions, he’s got the quickness, he’s got the length, he’s got some size. And as he gets into our system — we keep working with him — I think he’s a real good fit for our inside three and gives us a chance to add another good quality player inside. I really like the guy.”

Bosa joins exclusive NFL sack club in 49ers’ win over Cardinals

“Bosa’s second-quarter sack of Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was number 10.5 on the year for the 49ers All-Pro, marking the third consecutive season that he’s eclipsed the 10-sack threshold, becoming just the fourth active player to record 10 or more sacks in three consecutive seasons.

The only other active players to accomplish that feat are the Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett (6 seasons), Philadelphia Eagles’ Haason Reddick(4 seasons) and Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons (3 seasons).”

PFF’s best and worst graded 49ers players vs. Cardinals, plus snap counts

“Jon Feliciano, RG, 93.5, 56 snaps.”

49ers injury report: Davis out multiple weeks with high ankle sprain

“Deommodore Lenoir suffered a rib contusion in Sunday’s game but is day to day. The extra day off this week with the 49ers’ next game on Monday night will help the cornerback recover.”
