49ers 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Roundup of B/R Staff, Kiper and Expert Picks
“A prospect ranked just inside the top 100 by many experts will be available to the 49ers, or they could take someone with a lower ranking who they value more than other teams.”
“Chris Conley is the newest San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, signing a one-year deal worth $1.3175 million with $400,000 guaranteed with the team. OverTheCap.com has the contract details, which are broken down below.”
49ers mailbag: Who will be team’s top pick? Chances they trade Trey Lance? (paywall)
“I really liked Purdue tight end Payne Durham. He gives off a “leader/winner” vibe and undoubtedly would be a great fit in the 49ers’ locker room. I equate a person’s sense of humor with his or her intelligence. I watched a bunch of interviews with Durham and the guy is hilarious. The problem: I usually try to pair the Draft Crush with the 49ers’ initial pick, and I don’t think Durham — one of the slowest tight ends this year — goes until the fifth or sixth rounds.”
“I want to win a Super Bowl”: Former 49ers kicker Robbie Gould still seeks NFL home
“Ahead of the start of free agency in March, Gould told ESPN that he did not plan to return to the 49ers, his NFL home of the past six seasons. The comments were likely a reaction to 49ers general manager John Lynch admitting at the NFL Scouting Combine that the team was doing its homework on rookie kickers but admitting “Robbie is still very much in the picture.”
