Bosa’s body ‘fully adapted to football’ after 49ers’ post-TNF break

“I think getting through Thursday for me was big,” he said. “Just getting thrown right into football, I was feeling it. But getting through that and being able to finish out Week 3, I think my body is fully adapted to football now.”

Shanahan admittedly more comfortable with Purdy than previous QBs

“Yeah, I would, and he’s earned that,” Shanahan said. “Each game you get more and more comfortable with him. You understand his thought process, he’s a great guy to talk to. When he does make a mistake, he knows why he did. There’s not much random stuff and it’s really easy to get on the same page with him.”

Branch: ‘All about the ball’: 49ers’ Brock Purdy’s INT-free streak nearing 200 (paywall)

“And Purdy has come up big when it comes to that stat: He’s thrown 190 consecutive passes without an interception (including playoffs), which dates to the third quarter of last season’s overtime win at Las Vegas on Jan. 1. Purdy’s streak ranks second in franchise history behind Alex Smith, who threw 317 consecutive passes without a pick from December 2011 to September 2012.”

49ers’ Christian McCaffrey named NFC Offensive Player of the Month

“McCaffrey leads the NFL in rushing with 353 yards and three touchdowns on 60 rushing attempts for a 5.9-yard average. He has 11 receptions for 70 yards.”

Kyle Shanahan provides updates with 3 top receivers on injury report

“Deebo and Jauan weren’t able to practice,” Shanahan said. “They’ll be questionable for the game. We’ll see how they go tomorrow. Hopefully they can get out tomorrow and give them a chance for Sunday.”
