And one statistic that really convinced me that Smith has turned the corner was his incredibly low rate of poor throws as scored by STATS last season. Just 10.5% of Smith's passes to open receivers were off the mark, a rate that put him in a tie for second-best in the league along with the Vikings' Brett Favre and just barely off the 10.3% pace of former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner. The Saints' Drew Brees (11.1%), Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger (12.1%) and Colts' Peyton Manning (12.8%) rounded out the league's top performers. That's pretty good company.

NFL loses anti-trust suit

I'm sure Fooch could tell you more than I can about the implications of this ruling, but as far as I can tell this ruling opens the door for some competition as far as NFL apparel is concerned (among other things). Good news, as competition will likely drive down the prices.

Football Outsiders Breaks Down Willis Contract Details

This is the first we've seen the real details broken down (since the contract is on file with the NFL/PA). Great insight into how the deal got done with the additional rules in place during this un-capped 2010 league year.
