This is the fourth year we've had a 49ers mock draft database, and only once did we include mutliple rounds. For our 2011 49ers mock draft database, I thought it was a good idea to add more rounds. It's still too early to get too many deeper mock drafts, but for now we've got some second round mocks available. As we move through the NFL Combine at the end of February I'd imagine Round 2 mocks will only increase.
In our first round mock draft database we break down the names involved as well as the positions. For a top ten pick there are a decent number of names, but it's not too difficult to break them down. For a second round mock it's not so easy. There are so many possible combinations of players that could go ahead of the 49ers second round pick that we end up with a whole bunch of possibilities there. So, for now we'll just list out the mock drafts with their results and break it down by position but not by player.
